Corker Says Campaign is Clear Referendum Between Tennessee Values vs. Washington Values

Bob Corker Joins Family and Scores of Supporters in Voting Early Today

Calling the U.S. Senate race a clear referendum on Tennessee values versus Washington DC values, U.S. Senate candidate Bob Corker was joined by his wife, Elizabeth, his family, and scores of supporters at a rally in Chattanooga which kicked off the start of Early Voting today.

"The differences in this race are clear and concise, and Tennesseans have a choice between a citizen legislator with a record of getting results through hard work in Tennessee, and Congressman Ford, whose entire professional life has been spent in politics and Washington," stated Corker. "The past two years have been exhilarating as I have traveled the state meeting voters from all walks of life, and sharing with Tennesseans my background as a citizen legislator and my vision of lower taxes, the strength of faith and family, and keeping America strong at home and abroad," said Corker.

Throughout the general election, the Corker Campaign has worked with Tennessee Victory to mobilize the most massive grassroots effort in Tennessee history. Since last Saturday alone, hundreds of volunteers have contacted more than 100,000 voters through phone calls and door to door canvassing. This work will continue to intensify throughout Early Voting and through Election Day.

Corker stated, "This campaign comes down to a clear referendum between Tennessee values versus Washington values, and over the next 20 days, as the voters of our state make their choice, I have tremendous confidence we will win this race."
