LINDER ISSUES THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT REGARDING FOILED TERROR PLOT

Today Congressman John Linder issued the following statement regarding this morning's foiled terror plot:

"Early this morning British authorities thwarted one of the largest, most complex, terrorist plots seen thus far. We must have the support of our allies overseas if we are to keep our borders safe, and today we witnessed an international community sharing intelligence and working together to take action against terrorists who have again targeted innocent civilians. We are indebted to the quick work of our allies in Britain and the contributions made from other members of the international intelligence community.
