Ms. TLAIB. Mr. Speaker, today I want to recognize AgeWays, a human services agency, as they celebrate fifty years of service to our seasoned residents of Southeast Michigan.

Formerly known as Area Agency on Aging 1-B, AgeWays has been a resource for seniors and their caregivers since 1974. They take an active role in helping older adults access services and assistance they need to live independently. They serve over 700,000 people in their six-county service areas, providing comprehensive services such as direct care, meals on wheels, transportation, and health and wellness programs. They have been a steadfast partner for the communities of the 12th Congressional District who rely on their work.

The 12th District is proud to recognize their incredible and dedicated leadership to serving our seasoned residents and we offer our congratulations as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. Please join me in recognizing AgeWays in celebration of fifty years of commitment to our community.
