"The floods in Fayette County during August of 2022 seriously damaged the stream embankment and parking lot at the Valley Pre-K-8 School that faculty and staff rely on. I was proud to work with our state and federal partners at FEMA to secure resources that will be critical in the school's efforts to restore their facilities. This funding will help ensure communities and schools like Valley Pre-K-8 are more resilient."
