"It is essential that resources are made available to assist those in our state as we recover from the results of heavy rains and flooding. I was proud to lead this major disaster declaration request, and ultimately secure funding for flood damage that occurred in Boone, Calhoun, Clay, Harrison, and Kanawha counties last August. I will always advocate for the resources our residents and communities rely on, especially in their time of need."
