"The Biden administration should prioritize making it easier for Americans to invest for a secure retirement. Instead, the proposed fiduciary rule imposes burdensome regulations that have already proven to make investing more difficult, especially for those who are lower- and middle-income. Americans should be encouraged to save by, among other things, minimizing hassle. This is whether they are saving for retirement, a child's education, or for the "I hope it never happens, but I know that it might so let's be prepared' life event."
