"Once again, House Republicans are failing the American people. Over the past year, we have seen the consequences of poorly maintained public transportation and housing. From train derailments to a housing crisis, it is abundantly clear that our nation needs more investment in improving our communities, not less. It is unconscionable that Republicans would instead support legislation that ensures too many Americans will remain without housing or safe and reliable transportation when our constituents are most in need of these resources. This bill simply does not represent what our constituents have called on us to do."
