"I am glad that Congress was able to work together and reach a short term agreement through November 17, 2023, that prevents the federal government shutdown that would have negatively impacted our nation's economy and cut off critical resources and services for millions of Americans. In Colorado, we work across the aisle to deliver real results, I have been proud to sign responsible and bipartisan budgets, new bipartisan laws to save people money on health care, and major investments in workforce development. I encourage Congress to continue to work together after tonight on a long term package to fund the critical government services and programs Americans rely on."
