"The path to a future free from sexual assault and harassment begins with bringing these terrible incidents to light--not covering them up. That's part of why the decision by Coast Guard leadership to suppress and delay disclosure of the ugly truths detailed in the "Fouled Anchor' report was inexplicable and wrong. I am committed to learning from the experiences of the survivors who braved a hostile environment to tell their stories which show just how far we must go before our seas are safe for all."
