Since then, Americans across the country are seeing up close the promise this law can bring to the nation. From semiconductor manufacturing facility groundbreakings to programs to foster innovation ecosystems and strengthen STEM opportunities for all--the CHIPS and Science Act is making an impact. Democrats are delivering on their promise to invest in America by building a diverse STEM workforce, revitalizing our manufacturing sector, boosting the economy, and ensuring the US remains competitive.

Speaker McCarthy and extreme MAGA Republicans are on a mission to cede our leadership in science to China. If we do not invest to build up our scientific enterprise, other countries will beat us to it. They already are."
