"The committee has advanced a bipartisan bill to make our country safer and stronger. As the nation faces a range of evolving threats, this NDAA would provide a historic level of support for our troops and their families. It authorizes record-level investments in the people, platforms, and programs needed to deter adversaries and safeguard the nation. This bipartisan bill makes real progress. It addresses a broad range of pressing issues, from strategic competition with China and Russia, to disruptive technologies like hypersonics, AI, and quantum computing, to modernizing our ships, aircraft, and combat vehicles.
