Congressman Pence (IN-06) released the following statement regarding the September 2022 Consumer Price Index (CPI) report, a key gauge of inflation rates in the United States:

"Inflation rose 0.4% in September, and while Democrats and their corporate media allies continue to try and convince us all it's 'not really that bad,' we know the truth. It is that bad.

Americans are still struggling to buy gas, put dinner on the table, keep up with their bills, put kids through college, and more. Now, this prompts the federal reserve to raise interest rates again -- squeezing all of our budgets even tighter.

Democrats ultra-liberal, out-of-control spending policies have proven what a disaster their one-party rule in Washington has been for the rest of America."
