U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement joining Senate Democrats' call for immediate, bipartisan action to pass permanent protections for Deferred Actions for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients before the end of this year.

"Because of the DACA program, thousands of Dreamers in Nevada and across our country have been protected from deportation and given access to the American Dream. But recent court decisions threaten the future of DACA and our Dreamers," said Senator Rosen. "Dreamers should not have to continue living in limbo, awaiting each court's decision to jeopardize their future in the only country they have ever called home. Now is the moment for Congress to act and give Dreamers, who enrich our country, permanent protections and a pathway to citizenship, which is why I join my colleagues in calling on Republicans to work with us in a bipartisan way to pass a permanent solution this year."
