Womack Statement on Biden's Plan to "Cancel" Student Loan Debt

Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the below statement after President Biden announced his plan to "cancel" student loan debt.

"There is no such thing as canceling student loans. It's debt that will now be contracted to American taxpayers, many of whom never went to college or have already honored what they owe. Someone always has to pay. And--as has been with all of the Biden Administration's proposals--it's coming straight from your wallet."

Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) has represented Arkansas's Third Congressional District since 2011. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee.
