Rep. Rosendale Remains Committed to Fiscal Responsibility - Votes Against Continuing Resolution

Press Release

Date: Sept. 30, 2022
Location: Washington, DC

Today, Representative Rosendale voted No on H.R. 6833, the Short-Term Continuing Resolution, keeping the federal government funded for the next two months. This resolution neglects record-high inflation and record-high illegal border crossings, yet continues record-high spending as the national debt approaches $31 trillion.

"Instead of taking the opportunity to address an out-of-control border crisis, fentanyl flooding into our states, or American energy independence, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats continue to push us further into an on-coming recession," Rosendale said, "Today's actions confirm that new leadership is needed now more than ever."

As a result of today's vote, Democrats will come back in December, in a lame-duck session before losing their majority in January, and push through even more spending to advance their Progressive special-interest agenda.
