Press Release

Date: July 15, 2022
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-4) voted in support of S. 3373, the Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2022, or the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022, which will allow veterans exposed to burn pits or other dangerous toxins during their service in our nation's military to receive the healthcare benefits they earned and are entitled to through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

"Supporting our veterans who have bravely served our country is something I am most proud to do as a Member of Congress," said Congressman Palazzo. "Each one of us has a duty to take care of those who took care of us in times of war. The PACT Act will help ensure every veteran who was exposed to toxic substances, and their families, is properly cared for."
Congressman Palazzo is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Persian Gulf War veteran, current member of the Mississippi National Guard, Co-Chair of the House National Guard Caucus, and a staunch supporter of our servicemembers.
