Polluters are trying to gut the Clean Air Act… and the Supreme Court may let them

Big oil and other polluters are trying to gut the Clean Air Act-- and they've taken it all the way to the Supreme Court

The Act has allowed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to regulate air pollutants, including carbon emissions for over 50 years.

If you're counting on the current Supreme Court to be an ally in the fight against climate change: don't.

With Donald Trump's extremist additions, progressives are now severely outnumbered on the Court.

That's a problem. Especially when the Court signals they're likely to side with big oil and other polluters.

That means it's on Congress and us to take aggressive action to fight climate change. Please join me in urging them to do exactly that

We've talked a lot about climate change. We all realize how critically important it is to get this right. According to the International Panel on Climate Change, we must act immediately.

Considering how our opponents and big corporations depend on the fossil fuel industry, this is going to be a tough fight.

Take the first step, sign my petition, and join this urgent movement for the sake of our planet.

Jim
