U.S. Representative Austin Scott (GA-08) today released the following statement in response to the FBI raiding the personal residence of Former President Donald J. Trump:

"Last night's raid on the former President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is an unprecedented political assault that resembles the abuses in the most corrupt of countries. I do not believe for one minute that Joe Biden did not know exactly what was happening. Congress has the responsibility to deliver facts to the American people and investigate the actions of the FBI and DOJ to hold them accountable."
