Neal Expands RFI on the Health Care Industry and the Climate Crisis

Press Release

Date: April 1, 2022
Location: Washington, DC

Building on last week's Request for Information (RFI) on the health care industry and the climate crisis, today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) also sent the RFI to two national dialysis companies and 10 associations with facility-based health providers. Together, these organizations encompass a broad range of providers from across the continuum of care, and their feedback will significantly inform current and future efforts to promote climate action in the health care sector. Chairman Neal also requested that these organizations send a facility-level survey to a representative sample of their membership.

The latest recipients of the RFI are: the American Hospital Association, America's Essential Hospitals, the American Health Care Association, the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association, the Association of American Medical Colleges, Fresenius Medical Care, DaVita, Children's Hospital Association, the National Rural Health Association, the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, the National Association of Long Term Hospitals, and the National Association of Community Health Centers.
