Rubio Praises Court Decision to Protect Faith-based Schools

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement following the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Carson v. Makin, which found a prohibition against students using student-aid programs at private, faith-based schools to be unconstitutional.

"The Supreme Court sent a strong signal that discrimination against private schools because of their faith is unconstitutional," Rubio said. "For far too long the government and courts have chipped away at protections for people of faith. I pray that today marks a turning point for our nation, which was founded on God-given rights."
