"As we push back against the global current of autocracy, the longstanding ties and shared values between the U.S. and Greece are more important than ever. That's why I traveled to Athens last year, and I'm so proud that Greece has been a critical partner in supporting Ukraine. Today I was especially glad to hear of Prime Minister Mitsotakis' intentions to diversify energy sources and end their reliance on Russian oil and gas," said Murphy. "Connecticut is home to a large Greek-American community, and I was honored to be joined by Rep. Kavros DeGraw, a proud member of that community."
