Rep. Ralph Norman Selected to Serve on House Financial Services Committee

On Thursday, Rep. Ralph Norman (SC-05) issued the following statement after being selected to serve on the House Financial Services Committee:

"It's an honor to join the House Financial Services Committee, and I thank Ranking Member McHenry for his leadership. During this critical time for our economy, I look forward to putting my 45 years of private sector experience to work for the American people."

The U.S. House Committee on Financial Services is responsible for legislation and issues related to the U.S. economy, our banking systems, securities and exchanges, along with housing and insurance. The Committee also maintains oversight of our nation's capital markets, the U.S. Treasury, the Federal Reserve Board, and the 12 Federal Reserve Banks across the country.

"I'm proud to welcome Congressman Ralph Norman as the newest Republican member of the Financial Services Committee," said Ranking Member Patrick McHenry on Thursday.
