Wilson Introduces Bill to Protect Workers

Press Release

Date: March 17, 2022
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Joe Wilson introduced the Employee Privacy Protection Act to safeguard the privacy of America's workers.

"The bill rolls back National Labor Relations Board policies that jeopardize the privacy of workers and their families, giving workers greater control over the disclosure of their personal information and helps modernize an outdated union election process. Employers would have seven days to provide a list of employee names and one additional piece of contact information chosen by each individual employee. This legislation also allows employees to choose their preferred and safest way to communicate with union organizers," said Wilson.
