Today, Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) returned from leading a bipartisan delegation of House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence members and staff to the Ukrainian border.

Over the 5-day trip, the group held consultations at the U.S. Embassy Budapest, met with Ukrainian refugees in the Hungarian town of Zahony, including working a shift at Jose Andres' World Central Kitchen, and visited the U.S. Mission to Finland -- the only non-NATO E.U. state which shares a border with Russia.

"While in Eastern Europe, I was humbled to meet with courageous men and women -- aid workers from around the world and Ukrainian families who have been forced to leave their homes to bring their children to safety," said Swalwell. "It was crushing to see the wickedness inflicted by Putin, which is why we must continue to provide the Ukrainian people with what they need to defend their skies and hold Putin accountable so he ends this cruel and unprovoked invasion."
