Location: Washington, DC

Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined Senate colleagues in a letter urging President Biden to issue an executive order to protect the reproductive rights of American women if Roe v. Wade is overturned.

"Americans across the nation and at every level of government must stand up against this unprecedented assault on women and their right to make decisions about their own bodies and lives," wrote the Senators. "But as President of the United States, you have the unique power to marshal the resources of the entire federal government to respond."

Senator Rosen has been a leader in fighting for women's reproductive rights and calling for federal legislation that would protect access to reproductive health care and safeguard against dangerous state-level abortion bans and restrictions. Last year, Rosen helped introduce the Women's Health Protection Act and also signed an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court to uphold Roe v. Wade.
