Wagner Blasts Joe Biden's Radical Vision of America

Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Chair of the House Suburban Caucus, released the following statement after Joe Biden showcased a radical, socialist agenda during his State of the Union Address:

"Joe Biden's failed leadership was fully on display during his State of the Union Address. At a time when Americans are being hit with soaring prices at the pump and hidden taxes in the form of record inflation, we can't have a leader who pushes radical policies that threaten to destabilize our communities. Biden's failed actions are hurting hard-working Missouri families and wrecking our economy.

"Our nation is in crisis, and the American people needed to hear a message that assures them their President is putting them first. Unfortunately, that's not what we heard today. We heard a President focused on imposing socialist, government-led policies on Americans from the cradle to the grave. Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats want to defund the police and keep open our borders at a time criminals are hurting so many victims and illegal immigrants are smuggling fentanyl into our neighborhoods. These radical policies just won't help Americans in need, and I will continue to push back and work for suburban policies that will help you and your family.

"With dictators like Vladimir Putin threatening to subvert the world order, America needs a leader who will step up and challenge these bad actors. That includes making sure America is energy independent so we can reduce our reliance on foreign nations and assert our dominance on the world stage to deter any further aggression."
