I applaud President Joe Biden for the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will be the third African-American Supreme Court Justice, the fifth woman, and most importantly, she will be the first Black woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.
The nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will inspire all women, particularly African-American girls and women, that the color of one's skin and gender is not always a barrier. With hard work and persistence, you will be noticed and can make a difference.
