Sinema Statement on Rising Costs for Arizona Families

Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema released the following statement on the latest Consumer Price Index report showing rising prices for everyday families:

"The high price of gas and groceries are the top concerns I hear from everyday Arizonans, who want to get back to normal but are hurt by rising prices and empty store shelves. Arizonans should be able to keep more of their hard-earned money in their pockets. That is why I work every day to ensure any government spending is targeted and thoughtful -- because a lean, efficient government helps avoid price hikes. Congress must focus on policies we know will address rising costs, like our bipartisan infrastructure law, which will modernize roads and ports and get products to market more quickly, and our legislation boosting American manufacturing of critical components like semiconductors. I pledge to continue focusing on solutions to help everyday families get ahead."
