Today, U.S. Representative Brenda L. Lawrence (MI-14), a 30-year veteran of the United States Postal Service and member of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, joined President Biden at the White House for the signing of H.R. 3076, the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022. Rep. Lawrence was instrumental in crafting this bill and getting it to the President's desk.

"I dedicated 30 years of my life to the United States Postal Service. When I first came to Congress, I wanted to sit on the House Oversight Committee to ensure the Postal Service lives up to its mission of prompt, reliable service. Today is a testament to the countless hours and committed hard work, across multiple congressional terms, to craft a bill that meets the needs of this important agency," said Rep. Lawrence. "With the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act now signed into law, the Postal Service will be well-positioned to serve the American people for generations to come. Every single day, Postal Service employees deliver the package for the American people. Today, Congress and President Biden delivered the package for the Postal Service."
