"Last night I voted for the FY22 omnibus and $13.6 billion in direct aid for Ukraine. I secured many West Virginia priorities in the FY22 federal budget, including more than $166 million for Congressionally Directed Spending Requests in West Virginia.

The FY22 funding bill is a bipartisan, fiscally sound compromise. Many of the WV priorities that I fought for, including water & wastewater upgrades, healthcare & education investments, transportation projects & economic development opportunities are included in this legislation.

I look forward to seeing @POTUS sign this legislation into law and will continue working to get our fiscal house in order while supporting West Virginian and American priorities."
