Rubio Releases Statement on DOJ's Decision to End China Initiative

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement following the Department of Justice's (DOJ) decision to end the China Initiative, a national security program designed to curtail Chinese espionage in the United States.

"The Chinese Communist Party poses a threat to America's economic and national security unlike any other entity in the world," Rubio said. "The goal of the "China Initiative' was to focus time, energy, and resources on protecting our nation's industrial innovations and scientific advances. By effectively ending that effort, the Biden Administration is once again showing that it just doesn't understand the nature or severity of the CCP's threat."
