Moolenaar Statement on the Supreme Court Hearing for the OSHA Vaccine Mandate

Statement

This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments regarding the legality of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's COVID-19 vaccine requirement for businesses with 100 or more employees.

"Americans should have the right to decide if they want to take the COVID-19 vaccine and I believe President Biden implementing his mandate through executive rule is unconstitutional. If the mandate is upheld, Michigan businesses will face higher costs for employees and hard-to-find tests, and those costs will be passed on to Michigan families and seniors. I have introduced a bill to block this mandate and I will continue to fight for that legislation in Congress until the mandate is ended," said Congressman John Moolenaar.

Moolenaar introduced the No Vaccine Mandate Act last year to push back against the Biden Administration's executive overreach.
