Rep. Stephanie Bice (R-OK) congratulates four students from the Casady School for winning the Congressional App Challenge for Oklahoma's Fifth District.
Adithya Bhaktaram and Peter FitzSimons won first place for their creation of Pulse App, which allows students to anonymously rate their teachers and classes on a daily basis to provide constructive feedback for the teacher.
In second place, Krish Patel developed an app that allows private school students to purchase and sell used high school textbooks, called Textbook Trade.
Jack Stanfield placed third for his app called Phonic Fun which helps young students learn how to read through a simple way of understanding phonetic sounds of letters.
"I am so impressed with the innovation, creativity, and skills these students possess," Rep. Bice said. "It is students like this that will help change the world. They each identified a need and developed incredible solutions at a young age, and I look forward to seeing what other ways they will use their bright minds in the future."
