Rep. Jim Costa announces Valley airports to receive $9.5 million from Bipartisan Infrastructure Law

Today, Rep. Jim Costa announced that $9,558,501 in new federal funding under the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is headed to the San Joaquin Valley to make much-needed improvements to regional airports.  This is a part of the Fiscal Year 2022 funding made available to airports nationwide. The funds will help airports with future expansion and improvement projects. Fresno-Yosemite International Airport will receive $4,674,140.

"Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, this new $4.6 million grant will deliver good-paying jobs while making renovations to Fresno-Yosemite International Airport," said Rep. Costa.  "By helping fund the airport's future expansion plans, we will ensure that all travelers flying to and from the San Joaquin Valley will have an easier and safer journey."
