Today, Representative Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) announced the first round of investments in repairing California bridges under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Law he helped pass. Huffman helped deliver $849.4M for California to fix bridges this year in FY 2022, part of a total $4.2B investment over the next five years.

"The Infrastructure Law is delivering results for our community. Thanks to this new law, our state is receiving long-overdue funding to update many of our crumbling bridges -- delivering new, well-paying jobs in the process," said Rep. Huffman. "Repairing our bridges will make our community safer, grow our local economy by creating jobs and allowing commerce to move more efficiently, and help us stay connected."
