Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) highlighted how the Build Back Better Act will help farmers and rural America. The agricultural provisions in the Build Back Better Act include billions of dollars for critical investments in agriculture and our rural communities. Last week, Congresswoman Bustos voted to pass the Build Back Better Act in the U.S. House of Representatives. The legislation now awaits upcoming action in the U.S. Senate.

"The historic investments in American families made by the Build Back Better Act will improve lives and livelihoods for folks across the country -- particularly in rural communities like the ones I'm proud to serve," said Congresswoman Bustos. "This bill will increase opportunity and improve quality of life for rural Americans. From investments in agricultural research and biofuels infrastructure to debt relief and conservation efforts, coupled with reduced costs of health care, child and elder care, education and housing, the Build Back Better Act will ensure that family farmers and rural communities have the tools they need to succeed in the 21st century."
