Simpson Earns A+ on Pro-Life Issues

Today the Susan B. Anthony List awarded Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson an A+ rating on the organization's pro-life scorecard.

The Susan B. Anthony List is a non-profit dedicated to advocating for pro-life public policy and leadership. Each year, they track members of Congress' legislative records, votes, and actions that prioritize life and the rights of the unborn.

"I am proud to receive this rating from the SBA List and will continue to support legislation that protects the rights of infants, mothers, and healthcare providers who oppose abortion," said Simpson. "At a time when the pro-life message of hope is being questioned within the halls of Congress, it is more important than ever that pro-life Americans speak out in support of the unborn."

Simpson's A+ rating is the result of a consistent pro-life record that includes opposing legislation such as H.R. 3755, the Women's Health Protection Act, which would expand access to late-term abortions, and other legislation that would allow hard-earned tax dollars to fund abortions. Additionally, Simpson has fought to keep longstanding pro-life provisions in appropriations bills, including the Hyde Amendment.
