Today, U.S. Congressman Madison Cawthorn (NC-11) introduced a House Resolution condemning the National Archives and Records Administration for placing a "harmful content warning label" on the founding documents of the United States.

The label appears on the National Archives' catalog of online documents, including the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

"Our Founding Documents defined this nation and established principles of liberty, freedom, and equal rights for all. The National Archives' decision to put a "harmful content' warning label on the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights demonstrates a profound ignorance of U.S. history. I'm proud to introduce this resolution along with three of my House colleagues to preserve the sanctity of our nation's exceptional founding documents," said Congressman Madison Cawthorn.

"An interstate travel vaccine mandate would leave individuals marooned in states where they cannot work, cannot go to restaurants, and cannot leave. Businesses already hard-hit by the pandemic in the travel and hospitality sectors would be further strained. This is a common-sense, practical, reasonable bill that would simply provide assurance and protection to millions of Americans whose rights are under attack," said Senator Mike Lee
