Senator Casey Advances $631,000 for Lehigh Valley Projects in FY22 Spending Bills

Washington, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) is announcing the inclusion of congressionally directed funding for 2 projects around the Lehigh Valley in the Senate Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Appropriations bills. Senator Casey advocated for each of the projects to be included in the appropriations subcommittee bills. The U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee released nine of the 12 bills on Monday, October 18; the other three had already been released.

"I'm pleased to advance this critical funding for projects that will invest in community health and criminal justice reform," said Senator Casey. "As we build back better, these investments will help revitalize communities across the Lehigh Valley. I will continue to advocate for resources for our Commonwealth and work with my colleagues to get these spending bills passed into law."
