Bill Johnson Votes to Protect Innocent Life by Rejecting Far-Left Abortion-on-Demand Bill

"I am the father of two daughters and the grandfather of four granddaughters, and addressing women's health issues is high on my priority list. But women's health is not what this legislation was about. Protecting the most vulnerable among us -- the unborn -- is among the most solemn responsibilities I have as a member of Congress," said Bill Johnson. "Unfortunately, radical Democrats in Congress and across the country want to be able to take the lives of innocent children up to and in some cases right after birth, which is particularly barbaric. This push for abortion-on-demand, coupled with the far-left's demand to use taxpayer dollars to fund a practice that tens of millions of Americans believe is morally wrong is shameful. I will always fight to protect our nation's most innocent: our children, both born and unborn."

This far-left radical legislation, H.R. 3755, would attack states' rights by removing all past efforts, state and federal, to protect the unborn by rescinding laws preventing late-term abortions, pain threshold bills, and laws preventing abortions of children who have been diagnosed with down syndrome.
