Walorski: We Will Never Forget the Heroes of 9/11

Statement

Date: Sept. 10, 2021
Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) released the following statement commemorating the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

"On this solemn anniversary, Americans remember the nearly 3,000 precious lives lost in terrorists' malicious attacks on our nation, and we remember the life of every American hero who since that day has given their life to protect our safety and our freedom," said Congresswoman Walorski. "Twenty years after 9/11, the American people have demonstrated our resilience -- but we will never forget the courage, bravery, and sacrifice that displayed the best of America. Along with so many Hoosiers, I was inspired and motivated by the selflessness of first responders and everyday heroes in New York, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville. Today, that same patriotic spirit spurs our commitment to a stronger, safer, and more united nation."

Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Ranking Member of the House Ethics Committee.
