Today, Rep. Jodey Arrington (TX-19) released the following statement after the United States Supreme Court allowed the Texas Legislature's pro-life "heartbeat" legislation, Senate Bill 8, to take effect.

"I applaud the Fifth Circuit Court's decision to allow Texas' pro-life "heartbeat" protections to take effect," said Rep. Arrington. "This legislation is the most significant victory for the unborn in defense of their Constitutional right to life since Roe v. Wade -- God bless Texas!"
