Date: July 1, 2021
Location: Washington, DC

Today, U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) issued the statement below on the Supreme Court's ruling to uphold voting restrictions in Arizona.

"The march to secure the right to vote for every eligible American took a significant step backward today. Today's decision by the Supreme Court underscores the urgent need for Congress to take action to defend the sacred right to vote, and pass federal voting rights protections now. There is no time to waste and this fight is far from over. I am committed to sustaining the march to protect access to the ballot box for every eligible voter in Georgia and nationwide."
