Malliotakis, GOP Colleagues Condemn Hamas Terrorism Against State of Israel

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Rep. Nicole Malliotakis yesterday joined at least 50 of her Republican colleagues in condemning the acts of terrorism committed by Hamas against the people of the state of Israel.

Theresolution, introduced by Congressman Carlos Gimenez (FL-26) and cosponsored by Malliotakis, "condemns the acts of terrorism committed by Hamas against the people of the State of Israel; recognizes Jerusalem as the legitimate capital city of the State of Israel; supports Israel's efforts of self-determination and collective security against external forces; and reaffirms support for policies and initiatives combatting anti-Semitic behavior around the world."

"My heart is pained by the tragic spate of ongoing violence in Israel," said Congresswoman Malliotakis. "We must continue to stand with our ally, against the terrorism of Hamas, and the White House must work to immediately deescalate the violence and build on the progress of the Abraham Accords to bring peace to the region."
