Luetkemeyer Announces Winner of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition

Each year, the Congressional Art Competition provides an opportunity for high school artists from the third district of Missouri to demonstrate their talents. This year, the office of Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) received outstanding entries from 14 students.

Today, Congressman Luetkemeyer is pleased to announce the winner of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition from Missouri's Third District is a colored pencil piece by St. Peters' Abbie Chartrand entitled, "Baptism."

"Congratulations to the incredibly talented Abbie Chartrand! Very proud to have your artwork representing the Third District in the United States Capitol," said Congressman Luetkemeyer.

Abbie, a Sophomore at Fort Zumwalt East High School, will have her work displayed along with other winners from Congressional districts around the county in the Cannon Tunnel at the United States Capitol. Abbie will have the opportunity later this summer to attend a ceremony in Washington, D.C. to unveil all winning artwork from across the nation.
