Congresswoman Johnson Statement on President Biden's Major Disaster Declaration

Today, Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX-30), Dean of the Texas Congressional Delegation, released a statement following President Biden's pledge to sign a major disaster declaration for Texas:

"Since the power outages began, I have been working diligently with the White House, FEMA, and other federal partners to bring critical assistance and resources to our communities," said Congresswoman Johnson.

"That is why I am pleased to announce that President Biden intends to sign a major disaster declaration for Texas, therefore unlocking additional federal aid for relief efforts throughout the state. This aid will go a long way in helping those who are still struggling in North Texas."
