Press Release

Date: March 16, 2021
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Jim Hagedorn (MN-01) this evening voted in favor of H.R. 1799 - the PPP Extension Act of 2021. The bill passed the House with broad bipartisan support by a vote of 415-3.

"Unlike the nearly $2 trillion progressive wish list of policies that passed last week, this targeted, bipartisan 60-day Paycheck Protection Program extension is exactly the type of relief that will help small businesses survive the remainder of the pandemic, keep Americans employed and contribute to the nation's economic recovery," said Hagedorn. "Measures like this, and my bipartisan PPP Flexibility for Farmers and Ranchers Act, are essential to making sure all the tools the Paycheck Protection Program has to offer are readily available to the small businesses that are most in need."
