Rubio Opposes Biden Nominee for Undersecretary of Defense Policy

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement in opposition of President Joe Biden's Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, Dr. Colin Kahl.

"Confirming Dr. Kahl to serve as our nation's Undersecretary of Defense for Policy would be a serious mistake," Rubio said. "His hateful and unhinged rhetoric toward our fellow Americans is the exact opposite of what President Biden promised in order to unify the American people. Kahl's role in multiple failed foreign policy objectives under the Obama Administration is especially concerning -- from his complacency in dealing with the Iranian regime to his complete lack of foresight of the emergence of ISIS, and his naivety in working with China. Kahl has no business leading our nation's defense policy and I will oppose his nomination."
