CONGRESSMAN THOMPSON ANNOUNCES 'SUPER SATURDAY' TAX EVENT

WASHINGTON, D.C. --Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) released the following statement:
"It is once again tax season and this year the April 15th deadline falls on a Saturday, so the filing deadline will be the following Monday, April 17, 2006. I am pleased to announce the 2006 Super Saturday Tax Event, an event to make free income tax preparation available to low- to moderate-income individuals."
