Statement

Date: Feb. 3, 2021
Location: Washington, DC

Today, U.S. Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (CA-18) released the following statement in celebration of Black History Month:

"Every February we celebrate the achievements of Black Americans throughout our history and pay tribute to their many contributions to our country. This year, Black History Month comes at a time when COVID-19 is disproportionately devastating communities of color. As Chairwoman of the Health Subcommittee, I'm committed not only to honoring the stories of Black Americans, but also to passing legislation that will ensure an equitable vaccine rollout and address the inequities in our health care system that have been exposed by the current crisis."
